        YouTube was created by Paypal employees as a video sharing website where users could upload, share, and view content. Beside that YouTube allows users to rate, add too favorites, report comment on videos, and subscribe to other users. It offers a wide variety of user generated and corporate media videos. At this time, people in the world have used YouTube to watch videos about news, events, movie, and the others, but there's a lots of effects caused by YouTube in our lives, especially for students and children.
        YouTube has so many advantages for all people in the world especially for young generation. Is really easy for us to access and watching video in YouTube. YouTube can be a source for us, students to study and learn various kinds of positive things. We can now any event about economics, political and the others. So whatever students want to learn, almost everything is available on YouTube. Furthermore YouTube can be a place to express students creativity. In this case there is a tendency to learn new things.
        But there are so many negative impacts for young generation. It can be very addicting particularly for a student. It makes the student's learning time decreases and it can impact on student achievement in their school. Besides that YouTube also allows students and childrens to watch adult content, although YouTube has a filter in the presentation of content. But many children's also use every step to open that site.
        So YouTube is an application to share videos. it has so many advantages, as example it can be a source for us to know everything in the world and a place to express student's creativity. But is also can be a dangerous thing for young generation. It can be very addicting for a student's and it can impact on student;s achievement in their school. So,as a young generation or a student we must use this application wisely.
